Rex managed lending operations in 40 states. Being an insider, with a wide network of contacts he knows how to solve your real estate finance problem or find someone who does.
Operations/Business Development: Todd Wetzelberger
Todd is a real estate and finance professional with a 20 year background in historic redevelopment, investing, financing, managing collateral file compliance, private lending, project management, property management, loss mitigation, construction and neighborhood revitalization. His development company has renovated hundreds of units in multiple cities and he has been featured in the media for his expertise in real estate.
As a developer and former deep sea diver (many years ago) –working on underwater construction projects in some of the harshest environments in the world– there’s not too much he hasn’t encountered and not been able to overcome. Example- his $3M real estate business was literally wiped out overnight when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in August 2005. He had to rebuild from scratch in an entirely different market while cleaning up in the aftermath from Katrina 1,800 miles away.
Chances are any obstacles you have with your notes or property Todd has been in your shoes and figured out how to solve them. You can draw on that diverse experience to solve your own note and property problems.
Compliance: Bob Garrasi
Bob is responsible for compliance, due diligence and litigation support. Bob is a financial professional, Army veteran and received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Bob was also employed at the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System in the Investment Planning & Development and the Finance Departments for 16 years, where he was responsible for handling the accounting for the $35 billion Fixed Income and MBS portfolios. Bob also dealt regularly with Wall Street Banks and institutional investment advisers. Bob has been a successful stock market investor and private lender.
Bob developed strong due diligence and compliance skills over the past 23 years, being involved in complex commercial litigation, as well as many real estate and finance projects. With his diverse background, Bob can see the “what if” problems at the intersection of real estate, finance and litigation. That foresight aids in managing risk when markets become unstable.
